Welcome PM heck!

Hi,

I think I can request a heck here in this forums. I am currently looking for a heck for my site. I want to send a welcome PM automatically as soon as the new member joins the forums. It is same as what VBWebmaster has implemented.

Could anybody point me to an url where I can find this heck?

BTW, I also looking for "similar threads" heck that you have installed. I tried searching this on vBulletin.org but could not find the same. Could you please let me know where did you get this heck?

its not a hack - its comes with vb.

go to AdminCP > vBulletin Options > Message Searching Options

Look for Automatic Similar Thread Search and select Yes

Nope - should be available as stock install. As Joey pointed out try:

AdminCP > vBulletin Options > Message Searching Options > Automatic Similar Thread Search to "Yes"

That should do the trick...;)

I got it working. I have done the following:

AdminCP > Import & Maintenacne > Update Counters > Rebuild Similar Threads.
