Hello Everyone

My name is Glen Millar. I am a person who had nothing better to do one day and got into being a forum operator. My first forum was DJ World Chat (http://forum.djworldchat.com/index.php) which I started in 2001 basically as a test board for software I would use on another site (http://forum.otsdjsupport.com) where I am Technical Administrator. Well....since then I had setup or assisted to setup numerous forums using ezBoard, Ikonboard (when Matt was still there), IPB, phpBB and vBulletin.

I am the Administrator or Technical Administrator (responsible for all technical/server aspects of the forum) on at least 5 different sites. At one time it was as many as 12 sites. But it got to be too much.

It was through the work on the original forums, that I also got into web hosting. I was asked to join the support staff at Dixie Internet Systems in 2003 and I did join. This got me into being a reseller and evidentially having my own servers. I now own and operate iTec Internet Services which has iTec Hosting Services (http://www.itechosting.com) and Crystal Web Services (http://www.crystalweb.ca) (Canadian based pricing) as our operating identities.

The vBulletin boards I operate now are;

The Chrysler Minivan Fan Club (http://forum.chryslerminivan.net)
DJ World Chat (http://forum.djworldchat.com/index.php)
DJ Chat Canada (http://forum.djchat.ca/index.php)

I still have a couple of IPB boards I am Administrator or Technical Administrator of and these include;

OtsDJ Unofficial Support Forums (http://http://www.otsdjsupport.com/) I am the domain owner and host/Techhical Administrator of the site. This site began originally as Jumpin' Jeff's Unofficial OtsJuke Support Forums (http://www.otspeersupport.com) and is where I got into being a Forum Administrator/webhost. Last month they ran into a problem with the domain registration so I setup the new domains and moved the site to my server
Edmonton Bride (http://www.edmontonbride.com/forums/)Part of a Bridal Resource site. This forum is hardly used.
Idol Fanatics (http://forum.idolfanatics.com/index.php?act=idx) I set this up for fun and originally had available media from the shows etc. But I found it was too much work for one person to keep the media up-to-date and the bandwidth used by those who did not download from the server to view/listen and instead just viewed/listened on the server was getting out of hand (in 2 days 100 GB of Bandwidth was used) so I stopped the media sharing. Membership registrations/posts dropped off after that.
I also have a forum for each of my hosting services.

Anyway...enough about me.
