And so they did....now how do you get them to keep coming back?
One of the bigger challenges of a Forum Administrator besides getting the members, is to keep the members coming back.
What do you do to ensure members never forget about your site?

There are other things you can do as well -- For example, I send a newsletter every 2-3 weeks. Just to remind people that we're here. If someone hasnt posted or visited in awhile, I'll send them an email. (to do this, just do a search under users) - and in the email I simply ask where they have been. Things like that remind users that the site is here and often times, they just forgot about the site.

I for one was happy of the email as I had kinda forgot about my membership here and do have a recent hack question that I've now just posted (http://www.vbwebmaster.com/forums/showthread.php?t=565) :)

Thanks, I will try to contribute and not just ask questions (then again asking is also contributing) but you know how it is with forums, there are only so many hours in the day. But thanks for being a dedicated and friendly admin I know that ain't easy.

Weird 1st post... perhaps you'd be better off posting this in your own thread explaining exactly what you'd need help on...

You just PMed me and I am assuming youhave a question or 2 or 3. Now why wouldn't you post your questions in here? That is what message boards are for. Others may have the same questions you do so unless you give us some kind of hint at least to what you need, sorry ... we cannot help you.
