Do you have "staff meetings" with your Moderators and fellow Admins? If so, how often do you have them and what method do you use to hold the meetings. PM? ICQ? MSN messenger? Yahoo Messenger? Live chat that is onsite?
What is the purpose of your staff meetings?

We just had a staff meeting a few minutes ago! We don't have them very often... our board has only been up for 6 months and we've had maybe 2 staff meetings. We usually have meetings via AIM chats, that has been the easiest way to communicate. Also, our staff forum has been a good place for us to talk about board-related issues.
My co-admin and I decided to have a meeting tonight because we were thinking about unmodding one of our mods, who hasn't been active in a few months. Also, we wanted to add a new mod, and find out how things have been going with the mods.

Yup - I make a concerted effort to hold mod meetings. I suppose it is somewhat easier for me as all my team are in the UK or Eire. We have face-to-face meetings at least once a year, as well as regular telephone conference calls. We also have the usual daily discussions in our mods forum.
We also regularly meet up at the events we arrange ourselves and those where we are invited to attend. During th last month and within the next month I will have met up with most of my team of moderators on at least 3 occasions. One was a charity concert we did, another was a wedding we were invited to play at (the happy couple met on my forum!!!!) and the third will be a competition we are playing at in a few weeks.
The purpose of the mod/staff meetings is to manage the strategic direction of the site and to discuss issues and concerns etc. Fairly straightworward stuff really. Hope this helps.
