Sure - Here you go....
Community Bulletin (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=66334)
This hack is considered a "weekly newsletter" by the fact that it will email members (only sent by an admin) who have opted to receive it new posts, hot threads, etc ... basically a summary of what has been going on since the last time the newsletter was sent out. However there is a vast number of options, and I won't go into detail of all of them ...

I have also installed this hack a few days back it works gr8 :)
I have tested it on vB 3.0.6 and it is working. I read this tread on vBulletin.org and someone told that it also works with 3.0.7.

I take the newsletter and put it in dreamweaver, then customize it with my header banner and other things.
One thing - if you store css as a file, the css will not be active in the newsletter... Fyi

It does work - and like you said, you can pretty it up a bit on your own.

border="0" in the img tag.

border="0" in the img tag.
huh?
huh?
putting border=0 eliminates the blue border around the image the other user was having an issue with.

But you can always customize it according to your requirements in the preview sections. Also it is designed for some specific purpose. It is more than a simple newsletter.
Just my onw views ;)

You can see how I make it look here: VBW Newsletter (http://www.vbwebmaster.com/forums/showthread.php?t=594)
Just to give you an idea.

Joey: I dont' presently have this installed on my forum and am thinking of doing so. Are you able to control who gets to receive the newsletter...? i.e. can you tailor and send to specific usergroups?

yes you can choose which usergroups to send it to.
when adding extra text you do have to use some basic html (basic link and line breaks)
if you want it to match your forum you have to a bit of editing by changing the image links and colours in the code.
as far as i can tell you have to make a copy of that code as i havent seen a way to make it select a different skin.
does anybody know how to make it choose a different skin when generating the newsletter. it always slects the default skin (style id:1)

Same here - Works fine on 3.07. And I can tell you this, I have the most members log in on days I send the newsletter out.

I've tried to install this a couple of times on my vB and have had the same issues each time:
1 - The install screen shows a bunch of changes that need to be made to code, but has no other text... Anywhere where there should be text is just "I". If I continue on past the install screen, the same thing happens.
2 - The phrases that are inserted have "I" as their text.
3 - The item never shows up on the admin screen menu.
Has anybody else experienced this? How do I fix it? This is on 3.0.7, if that matters.
