Hey all...

Can someone please remind me how to set up the forum such that whenever someone views the site - the vB login message appears... i.e. absolutely no access to any category/forum/threads/posts unless user is registered.

I just can't believe I don't know this....

Cheers...

I would think that would have to do with setting usergroup permissions. Don't allow unregistered/not logged in members see anything.

But I could very well be wrong.

Exactly -

But - those forums wont be spidered by search engines either. FYI

Aye... appreciate that Joey. I am using one of my licenses to run a UAT process - but am not using the current IT procedures for my employer. Hence I only wish for people to know about this if I tell them, and when they do know, to only be able to see the login message if they are not logged in.

Not worried about spiders in this instance... other irons in the fire... )
