Cheap vB skins

Mr. J Jones
04-15-2006, 05:07 PM
Hi there,

I am out searching for fairly cheap vBulletin skins. My range is about $17 - $25 USD. If I can find a skin in those two price ranges that I like then I'd be happy to buy. They do not have to come with support, but if they do then that'd be great. I am looking for a general kinda skin, say dark colors and light colors, and the skin needs to be fairly simple but a bit graphical, so kinda half and half in graphical aspects. I'd like a skin to be smooth, and professional looking.

Also if you need more information on what I will be looking for in a skin do not hesitate to ask. If my price range isn't reasonable enough, then please mention about that.

I can pay via paypal.

Thank you.

I am interested. Do you have any skins like these:

I like those kinda styles but they lack in some thing, if you have simmalair skins to the url above, but a bit more than they're then I'd purchase. I am willing to raise if necessary.

The other thing I will point out here is look at the similarity between Miko's excellent Element style here:

and this one one ForumStyles

Sorry I don't see any similarity's. But I think you found me the right skin, if they skin comes in blue, it's myne!

I may buy Miko's skin, as you say it's excellent, but I am still thinking about this skin at vbskinworks that I like.. hmm, it's so hard to choose.

Wow I am actually shocked you would say anything like that, I actually had some respect for you. w3c banners/links get pulled from the w3c website so if there website happens to be down or can't be reached sure it won't work.

I mean it's like me saying that vbulletin 3.5.4 has been out since February yet you still have a good chunk of your skins listed as only supporting 3.5.3 and makes me wondering what your skins are like but I have more respect for you and others in business.

Also we get our skins coded by Aros (www.yourskinner.com) one of, if not the best coders for vbulletin as I am sure you know as you also have work done from him..

I might as well take this time to announce we are about to release 2 more skins and have 5 new skins set to come out next month (May).

So come visit www.forumthemes.com and say you came from vBulletin-FAQ and I will offer you a special discount just for being apart of this great community but you have to be registered here.

Have a great night

Eh, I dont think $30 - $35 is very high. Ive seen some skin makes actually charge $1000+ for a custom skin, which is crazy IMO.

for a custom skin, yes, I've known of a couple of people who have actually paid upwards of $600 - $700. Something I wouldn't do even if I could

My friend paid $30 for the Aria skin at vBstyles.com, but that came with like 4 or 5 different variations of the same style. Regardless, you're probably right, $30 isn't too awfully high, just not many of us can afford it ;)

Well, I wasn't trying to slam you, just making an observation. If you use Aros, then your skins are coded by one of the best, no doubt. I've told you before on other sites I think your work is great and you seem like a good guy.

I will apologize to you however...I respect you as well and my comment was out of character for me as I think you know. There are some in this business who try to undermine others by snide remarks and I don't want to be categorized as one of those, so again, my apologies!

On the 3.5.4 note, vBulletin made a non-functional update to the navbar that didn't require a revert, thus we haven't updated from 3.5.3 on some styles...we're waiting for the next major release.

I know I most certainly would.
