Well I could tell, but then I'd have to...
You get the picture. ;)
Expertu 06-01-2005, 02:44 PM 141 posts a day ? He kinda writes posts in his sleep also i guess ;)
AnthonyCea 06-01-2005, 02:48 PM That has to be fake, I post more than Joey on this forum :(
Expertu 06-01-2005, 03:10 PM Everywhere i go , there you are... ;)
So i should understand that you too write posts in your sleep ? :D
Joeychgo 06-01-2005, 03:17 PM Noppid was giving me a hard time one day about how many posts I had - so - I added a '2' in front of my post count as a joke.
Hodgedup 06-01-2005, 06:46 PM There must be a lot of "negative" posts on the forum and Joeychgo combats them by posting day and night.
AnthonyCea 06-01-2005, 07:17 PM Well Joey has to post a lot since he made Noppid an administrator because so many of the regular members are mad about Noppid running the show, hell Joey has to at least try to make up for it and pull Noppid's weight :p :p :p :p

Yeah, that's it. :D
minstrel 06-01-2005, 09:41 PM Who's mad at noppid? I nominated him for the Nobel Prize for PHP...
noppid 06-01-2005, 10:12 PM Who's mad at noppid? I nominated him for the Nobel Prize for PHP...
We need a blush emoticon! :o
minstrel 06-01-2005, 10:22 PM :D I think you found it, noppid.
AnthonyCea 06-02-2005, 08:45 AM I am mad at Noppid Minstrel
I am going to send Joey a PM about it too
minstrel 06-02-2005, 08:54 AM Why are you mad at him now?
Besides, how can you stay mad at a face like this:

Are you making fun of my nose?
Joe says my real picture would scare people. Something about not smiling.
minstrel 06-02-2005, 08:58 AM I'm a long-time ZZ Top fan. I like it.
"Everybody crazy about a sharp-dressed man..."

"Everybody crazy about a sharp-dressed man..."
OH!!!!!
Is that the deal with the ZZ Top thing, the avatar?
I'm slowwwwwwwwwwww.
Guys, I have no hair!
minstrel 06-02-2005, 09:24 AM In that case, you should change your member name to "nohair" instead of "noppid"... unless of course "ppid" means "hair" in serbo-croation... otherwise, it's false advertising, because I think most people seeing the name "noppid" will interpret that to mean "lots of hair, hair everywhere, so much hair you can't see his face"...

I wonder if I'd get any respect then?  :p
AnthonyCea 06-02-2005, 09:40 AM Your alright Noppid, it just takes a hell of a lot of getting use to someone before folks on the forum circuit really start liking you. Hell ask Joey, he has few friends :p
No one has ever gotten use to me yet :p
Your hanging with the right people and that is a start man :o

Thanks ACA.
But does this mean I have to watch the shireker tomorrow?
minstrel 06-02-2005, 09:52 AM I'm waiting for the new ZZ Top DVD.
I also think most people think that avatar is the real you, noppid... living in the Florida everglades and all... sorta like "Welcome to noppid, Anthonycea, and Sasquatch/Bigfoot country. Please enjoy your stay and watch out for 'gators and bald mountain men with firearms."
AnthonyCea 06-02-2005, 09:56 AM It is your loss if you miss Shakira's live concert on Good Morning America tomorrow Noppid, if you were smart you would clean the heads on your VCR and tape the concert because that chick is the greatest female performer since Janis Joplin and is a hell of a lot better looking :)
minstrel 06-02-2005, 10:08 AM ZZ Top is better looking than Janis Joplin, too.
noppid 06-02-2005, 10:40 AM ZZ Top is better looking than Janis Joplin, too.
But she has a deeper voice!
SO that's the perception the outside world has of us, sasquatch, swamps and bald guys?
I'm calling the hair club for men. :(
minstrel 06-02-2005, 10:47 AM Actually, after reading this thread, I have a new mental image of noppid and Anthony.
There's a weekly radio program here in Ottawa called "Middle-Aged Bald Guys Talking Rock'n'Roll". Excellent program, actually... looking at origins of different rock influences, artists' careers, trivia, early recordings, etc. The hosts are two ex-rockers from the area who are as the name of the show implies getting older and less hirsute as they go.
AnthonyCea 06-02-2005, 10:57 AM Yeah thanks a lot Minstrel, with friends like you and Noppid who in the hell needs enemies
They can talk all they want but I actually know what I am talking about Minstrel and it does not include the BeeGees, Elton John, enema (m&m) or Courtney Love :p
minstrel 06-02-2005, 11:07 AM It's actually a very intelligent broadcast, AC, and funny at the same time. These guys used to be in pro or semi-pro bands themselves so they have a performer's perspective as well as a fan's perspective.
Great show. Unfortunately, it's on a Sunday and I'm not always available to hear it.
AnthonyCea 06-05-2005, 09:55 AM Why would Joey post pad folks, his posts never get any attention anyway, the only time I seen Joey get any real attention is when he is being attacked by others in the community.
Like when he lost everyone's links, hell he is still to this day trying to repair the damage.
It's a bitch when one becomes famous over the bad stuff :o :p

Is that experience talking?
What was bad about it was he had a relationship with someone that was not professional. Sometimes we have that happen.
But his other business relationships were quick to point out they would never worry about such an issue because an email or PM can fix issues like that.
Oh and another thing I'll add. Don't we have a great forum where you can come and discuss an issue about the owner and not get censored or banned?
Isn't it refreshing to have a vBulletin Admin site where you can speak your mind and learn from everyone's experience, positive or negetive, and get all the facts to make a decision?
Try talking to the admins at other active vBulletin support sites like that and see what happens. You will be censored, your links edited to prevent you sharing information and then perhaps banned.
How can one learn anything in an enviorment like that where you have to fear retribution for not thinking the same way as the staff?
Welcome to VBW! Enjoy your stay. We'll take good care of you!
AnthonyCea 06-05-2005, 10:35 AM Well I always tell folks that have problems with Joey that he is a man of integrity, so I will go to bat for him and he knows that.
I know that he would never defraud anyone intentionally, we do have scam artists and quick buck artists in the business that would sell out, but Joey is not one of those people.
Hey we may make fun of him, but it is a hell of a lot less than we make fun of you Noppid :D
noppid 06-05-2005, 10:47 AM Hey we may make fun of him, but it is a hell of a lot less than we make fun of you Noppid :D
Hi AC
I'll take that as a compliment! :)
AnthonyCea 06-05-2005, 10:51 AM Well it is much better for a forum to be loose versus having tension as we have seen when egos take over a forum.
Sounds like a good idea for a thread, maybe Minstrel will start it for me.
I think he understands how members ego can affect a forum dynamic positive and negative.
The "I have to be the big star" mentality can really destroy a forum when folks start competing with each other for the spotlight as we all know real well.
When members continue to come up with canned ideas for threads that feed the egos of members it can contribute to taking the forum way off of it's mission. I think it is great to have crazy off topic threads but recycling the same stuff over and over can spell trouble.
