Hi everyone,
Over at the community I run, I've noticed that ever since the we changed from vBulletin 2 to vBulletin 3 that the statistics have dropped like mad. Some of the custom hacks where lost, but since I stepped in to manage thing most of them i've recoded myself of someone else coded. The statistics have gotten better than they were when we first upgraded to vbulletin 3 but I'm still not happy with them.
Here are some of the old statistics.
Back on vBulletin 2
New users: 50 to 60 a day.
New post: 700 to 1000 a day.
New Threads: 50 to 70
Now on vbulletin 3 (as of Friday)
New users: 20
New post: 294
New Threads: 24
Those statistics are very upsetting :|. I don't understand how a forum upgrade could change things like that. Right before the change from vB2 to vB3 the site got a new owner, that went over "okay" with the members but after the upgrade things went downhill.
Does anyone have any ideas of what could pull the statistics way up to what they where before? I've ran out of ideas, maybe some of you can throw some ideas out there.
If you need the link, it's www.cool-teens.com
Thanks for taking time to read this.
