Ok, it's official, Jelsoft has stated that most if not all current hacks won't work with vBulletin 3.5. Most of us use a hack or two, so let's get a list of hacks in use going so we can track development.
If you are currently using a vBulletin 3.0.x hack, please tell us about it.
We can track the progress for those that are being fixed and help support each other for those hacks that are in use but no longer developed.
Good luck!

every hack that runs a query or even edits a code will need to be converted for complete vB 3.5 compliancy and efficient use of features, so anything on vBulletin.org will need to be converted.

That's alot of hacks. Some folks have built entire sites around hacks.
This is going to be interesting as it plays out.
I downloaded to code and will read it tonight. Hopefully I'll "get it".
think vbindex not developing liao.
looking at vbaportal next.
the other hack i looking is the vbgarage. :p

I'm running vbgarage, vbstatistics 3 and vbarcade.
The statistics one doesn't bother me too much whether I keep it or not, if only I could manage to workout how to remove it :)
If my understanding is correct, once the hacks have been moved across to the 3.5 format we don't need to upgrade them again when a new version of vb has been released?

That is the intention, however, there are many many hacks that the new system of hooks will not accomadate. Those hacks will remain, well, hacks, instead of add in mods.
My intention is to make vBGarage a drop in mod, not a hack. We'll see how that plays out. :)
Progress is good. I'm pretty much over the learning curve and just changing user code. The back end is done and fully vBulletin 3.5 complient.

the only one I'm waiting on right now is the user selectable curse filter...it's relied on pretty hard by some of the family forum users...
Curse Hack: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=63875
Otherwise, the very few others I need have been taken care of, and usually improved on greatly.
