vBulletin 3.5 Betas

I'm new to vB, but I noticed in another release that it got as high as Beta 7. Is that what I can probably expect from this release also?

No way to know - could be more, could be less. Most of the releases on the current Stable version (3.0x) are mostly security releases.

vBulletin 3.5 is some nice code. Waiting for Jelsoft to get it working to everyone's satisfaction will be worth it.

Absolutly, Jelsoft provides very good upgraders for vBulletin. That you can count on. I don't expect it to be any different for vBulletin 3.5.

I would add though that it would not be a good idea to install any hacks on vBulletin 3.0.7 till you are certain you can have it on vBulletin 3.5.

I'm needing vBIndex and the Shoutbox ported to the vBulletin plugin system. I did vBGarage and I'll do my other hacks as well soon enough.

Thanks noppid. As soon as I found out that 3.5 was coming out, I quit putting hacks on my board. Less I'd have to redo.

Now I need to check if vBadvanced is planning on updating the hompage hack for 3.5.

vbadvanced should be planning, vb.org are providing alot of useful new stuff to get it workable.

noppid here who an experience coder also working hard to get vbgarage on vb3.5. However i wont count on vbindex since it stopped awhile ago and now the place is like a dead place. I can only count on another cms system which may work.

If that's the case, I will be porting vBindex then to keep it on my site. I like it. That's don't mean I'll be able to release it though.

U mean u try another is to do a whole new cms for vbulletin? if really so, wow, i can expect another great work from u again. :p

hahaha, no, I'm up to my eyeballs already! I'll leave that for the younger crowd.

I cannot wait for 3.5 because of the plugin system. It is going to be an awesome way to manage my hacks.
