How is it on the eyes?

I am about to build a portal for which ever skin I use...

If I get it I will still need to change the icons and do some major work to accomidatate my hacks, IE...an additional navbar.

What do you guys think?

I guess it depends on what type of forum you are planning on running.
Would work well for a gaming forum i guess.

It screams counter strike to me. The yellow text don't work well for me either. But it's a helluva design.

I second that. The template looks awesome.. but it would only fits a gaming forum, but that's my opinion..

yeah, well, I am going for something very uniqe so I will try it out for a while...couldnt hurt.


I just feel all of the other designs are generic, I want a custom one, but I dont have the time, nor energy to make one.

How much is it?

From my infinite-knowledge-based design standpoint I have to say that this is an extremely popular template that I see all the time.

If it's as much as any other semi-custom template, get one that matches what you want more and is less-known.

It was 30 bucks, but I am heavily modifying it...

For some reason when I see that skin, all I can think of is "Aces High" from Iron Maiden.

Thats prety much it, I am having trouble making the menus work in the navbar, but other than that, I think it turned out pretty slick with a very custom look.

Hey, nice job customizing!

I tried customizing those buttons on another site and they can get a bit hard to read -- if you get any complaints I can explain how to sharpen up that font at that size
