Ok, this is my first post after having lurked for a while. I have a question concerning getting links from these directories. I have read that so called “link farms” actually hurt your rankings and if so will that happen if I list with most of these?

It’s probably a stupid question as I am about 12 into the list as far as adding my URL :D

The only way a directory can hurt you is if the SE's target it as a reciprocal linking scheme, that is why I tell every directory owner to dump any text that suggests reciprocal links at all, but some of them are built upon this business plan and they are not going to adapt at all.

here is a new one that I'm working on,
I had it setup once b4 with a little over 100 links in 5 weeks, but I took it down and thought about selling the URL.
anyways I've decided to just go with it.
I have most the categories set back up and I'll add the sites that had signed up to it last time it was up.
you'll more then welcome to sign up, I have a good feeling about this URL, like I said, I had it up b4 and had 100 sites sign up in about a month.

I'll be adding this to every directory I can find ( just like my other sites )
so it might be wise for you to add your site too ;)

you don't have to sign up or anything to add your site, but if you do take a Min and sign up, you'll be able to edit your listing if you so wish to later on

I've gone thu and added my forum to well over half of those. and i have a few other sites that i will be going thu the same process with but on them i think I'll only add my sites to the Dir's with like PR 3 or 4

then after i get all of them i may do the PR0
