My client has a co located box with proftpd-1.2.8, he knows he has to upgrade etc but, as of today, that's what I've got to work with.
The hosting company had a power outage a while back and when the box came back up proftp didn't start again automatically. I can use putty but I need to chmod some files and quite frankly, I prefer using a gui based ftp tool.
So, how do I get proftpd to start?
thanks in advance
