Website Make Over

Good articles that are enticing can really motivate a person to do something. Well, I read articles about anything and everything, but most about internet, websites, adsense and business . Almost a month now, I bought a domain name, put several PHP scripts that I wrote myself and started to put in articles that I like-these came from free article reprints. Now, I was thinking that instead of publishing those articles for reprint then why not just I create my own blog and write anything and everything about what website I stumbled for the day and tell something about it and what I learned from it.

I'd like to ask advice from our good webmasters here.

1.) Is it wise to do what Im thinking ?
2.) Im thinking of Wordpress and B2evolution, which is easier to modify and use ?

Yes, Im going to put adsense on it if you're thinking about that. I need it to pay for my reseller plan that I got. ;)

I'd scrap the blog idea and do a well designed website with serious articles. Make yourself a resource. Blogs are a dime a dozen. When I use a search engine I'm looking for facts, not opinions. There's blogs that do that, but if I don't recognize it, or associate it with a credible website, I'll only look there as a last resort. Once you establish credibility by publishing your own content on a website, a blog can be a revenue source and something fun to do. Unless your blog is going to reveal inside information, or you're incredibly witty and funny, you're unlikely to attact much traffic outside of your friends and family. If your primary goal is to create a revenue source, you should look into setting up a links directory page and place your adsense on that.
