Hey All,

In an attempt to further enhance the content and services on offer on my site - theMouthPiece.com, and to continue in my attempt at raising the profile of music in general, brass music in particular, and banding (my www site theme), I have recently introduced on the site a series of 'online interviews' with people from all aspects of the music world, and have just managed to pull off, what is personally for me, the interview 'coup' of the decade.

I will be interviewing none other than international rock star, guitar maestro extraordinairre and ex Genesis legendary guitarist; Steve Hackett who has very kindly agreed for me to interview him for my interview online series.

Here's the link (http://www.themouthpiece.com/vb/showthread.php?t=15493&styleid=17)

Thanks all...
John

It's fair to say I have been a lifelong Genesis fan, and when Steve left I have always loved his music... very reminiscent of Genesis' material anyhows. I've seen him in concert a few times too, always a super performer and wow, what a guitarist. The chap makes them sing honestly he does.

He has offered to assist in one of my tMP events as long as this fits in with his tour/gig schedule etc, so I'll most certainly be taking him up on that offer for sure. Glad you enjoyed the read.

Funny that he keeps mentioning Mario Lanza, my parents used to listen to him 30 years ago, Italian opera if you will.

He must be a real student of music to be into that stuff :o
