Google Sitemaps Plus

I've just been working with Joey to get google sitemaps working on one of his forums and it's confirmed for me that webmasters don't like having their root directories chmoded to 777.

Certainly I wasn't happy which is why I've created v1.22(a) of the sitemaps script talked about in this thread: http://www.vbwebmaster.com/forums/showthread.php?t=947

I've also got a "scheduled task" going to regenerate the scripts - painlessly.

I'm waiting on Michael to run past him the changes, since technically it's his project, and then I'll release them here.

The basics though are that you have mysite.com/sitemaps/ and that holds the files but Google sees it all happening down at mysite.com/

This is important because a sitemap can only describe files on the same level or in subfolders (https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/docs/en/submit.html#troubleshoot). It can't step back!

Sarah's resolution for this works perfectly, btw. Thanks Sarah!
