Guess what? Another directory!

I've put up my own directory...

Nothing in it, yet. No PR, no visitors, etc. Of course not, it's brand new!

It's The SEO King - www.TheSEOKing.com - geared towards SEO resources/sites/companies. If you have a site related to SEO, stop in and add your site. Completely free, no reciprocal link is required, but it is appreciated.

Let me know if you'd like to add your site, but there is no category that fits your entry, I'll add new categories as required.

EVERY site submitted during August will have a chance to be listed as the "featured" site.

I would stay far away from the reciprocal link game as the search engines are branding sites with a lot of reciprocal links as link farms and your directory will be devalued as a website.

Just remove any mention of reciprocal links from your site and don't ask for them and you will be much more successful.

They may devalue recip links but they won't get you penalized.

Today is the last day for automatic "featured" submissions. Anything submitted to the directory by the end of August (today) will be a "featured link" until the end of September.

I definetly agree with you Anthony.... The reciprical link game is getting too sophisticated.... Programs and sites created for or using automated link swapping are going to get targeted.....

Each link coming from each site is going to have to be strictly valued and analised to find a reason why it is there to begin with or the web will need to find a new way of measuring importance....

Very, very few of the links submitted to that directory have recip'd.

Good for you Mike, get rid of the mention or offering of them or you too will get busted man!!
