I've just created a new website called www.directorystation.com
Could you give me some feedback on the layout, design, colors and time loading. Thanks very much!
(don't hesitate to submit your links for free as well :) )

I like the look and it seems to move well. Very clean.

I'm gonna add "some" sites. Thanks.

Hi

Well done with the directory - it looks great and works well. I've submitted a few sites... where do I submit my blog?

And how come vbWebmaster isn't already in Home \ Internet & Computers \ Forums (http://www.directorystation.com/browse.asp?cat=1776)?

The big problem I do have, however, is that it's really hard to tell the adsense ads from the actual listings. That makes me wary about clicking because I'm not sure if I'm clicking a site you've actually approved for your directory or any old schmuck prepared to pay for the click.

I actually value the ads on sites and will use them if the directory doesn't have something to suit. I make many times more from the adsense on my directory than I do from any other part of my sites - and they look like ads, no deception, no tricks.

I don't think it's fair to call those deception or tricks. It's not a TOS voilation, it's a personal preference how we choose to present our sites and the ads so long as they are presented within the TOS.

It wasn't meant to be an interpretation of the TOS etc.

Maybe I'm the only person on the planet to feel that way... in which case it's no big deal.

I understand we all have opinions, but I think the choice of words was rather strong.

I know you mean well.

Sarahk: for your webblog go to: Home \ Internet & Computers \ Internet \ Weblogs
I know my google ads look the same as the listings but I'm just doing some testing to check if people are cliking on it. For the moment the result is not that good anyway so I might just change its appearance.
mikelbeck / noppid: I'll try to validate your listings today :)

Thanks

I've submitted a stack of sites, some are mine, some are my clients and there are a few that I just felt should be there like fibs.com (http://www.fibs.com)!

I'm getting an "operation timed out" error when I try to go to your site. I checked my internet connection and I'm online, I was able to surf around using google.
