Continuing their rich advertising media support efforts, Google's AdSense program has introduced some new dimensions to for image-based ads, giving clients even more flexibility for their various campaigns.
According to the JenSense blog (http://www.jensense.com/archives/2006/04/new_ad_image_si.html), the new sizes now being supported by AdSense are 250x250 (square) and the web standard of 336x280 (the size many sites use for the main advertisement, including iEntry). These new supported dimensions mean AdSense customers now have 7 different sizes to choose from when it comes to ads. The complete list (https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=9733) includes:
leaderboard (728x90)
banner (468x60)
skyscraper (120x600)
square (250x250)
medium rectangle (300x250)
large rectangle (336x280)
wide skyscraper (160x600)
Clients must enable image ads in order to use any of the available sizes.
