Photopost versus vbGallery

We've looked at the sites for PhotoPost (http://www.photopost.com/) ($99) and vbGallery (http://www.vbadvanced.com/products.php?do=productinfo&p=5) ($60) and are trying to decipher the sale speak and make a decision about which to buy.

Anyone want to help us decide?

IF Noppid releases it - his new gallery is awsome.

Was that a gentle nudge?

P.S. This is for vB 3.5 if I ever let it out.

Problem is, you know my situation here, I can't unleash code with my time constraints. I'm just not available to give that the attention it deserves right now for 25 people.

We went with vbGallery and it's installed at http://www.propertytalk.com/gallery/

Nopid's gallery is super, but if he's not gonna release it then I'd plum for vBA Gallery. I currently have two licenses of this and am pleased with its functionality. I must say though that despite the many requests for one - the addition of a gallery to my busiest site didn't get the use I thought it might... still doesn't now.

It might be due to a lack of promotion and members not really knowing (1) it is there and (2) how to upload pics to it if they do. I'd be interested Sara in finding out what effect adding your gallery has... can you please keep us informed. Ta.

We did some compatibility testing of new installs last night of vBPicGallery on vB 3.5 RC3. We have it working well and refinded the instructions.

A donation of $20.00 will get ya the new install code. You can test it here...

For users looking to convert installs of vBGarage, I have to write the converter code yet. It will happen soon as I need it for myself.

I just installed photopost classifieds two days ago and am very happy with it:

They also have a very good install service and good support with quick responce times.

I'll be donating to Noppid's Gallery very soon, because it's one of the finest galleries that I've seen. Just perfect for our forums.

I have used both products...and I find both have their advantages and both their disadvantages...for the more user freindly VBG is good, but for functions and use, Photopost...I use Photopost ATM...

In our new vBPicGallery (http://www.cpurigs.com/) for vBulletin 3.5 we believe we have come up with simplicity and functionality to deliver a lightweight yet powerful photo gallery much better then vBGarage.

This is a photo gallery for vBulletin (http://www.cpurigs.com/) worth considering.
