Rotating ads

I have several ads placed in the header, footer and side areas of my Forum. I would like to rotate these ads either with either a refresh or on a timed basis. I am currently using a java script on my web site to do that, but I am unsure if I can use it on vB.

Anyone here know if vB will work with stock Java script and/or is there a better soluition out there to rotate my animated gif banners.

I'd use phpAdsNew - an excellent OpenSource banner management system. Allows you to publish and manage any size banner(s) easily.

You might even be lucky enough to be with a webhost who has it available on fantastico so you can be up and running with it in no time. I use it on my brass discussion forum, super app - go check it out.

I was up on their site today and downloaded it for my web site. But what about my vB forum? Being new to vB, I still am akward stumbling around in the code.

You can fully implement phpAdsNew on your vB forum. it's simply a question of obtaining the invocation code from phpAdsNew and then placing that in one of your vB templates where you would want the banner ad to appear...
