Newbie: help with side bar. anyone? [Archive]

Hi.

I run VBulletin 3.0.7 + VBadvanced cmps v2 rc2

Im wanting to create a left side bar that i can put graphical button links in, to link to different sections of my forum. On 'forum_index' page.

I.E i have just started a weekly Bonus Ball Lotto to generate a little revinue to support the board costs. Would like to make a nice link in a side bar (or maybe even a top bar) with a nice graphical button/Logo to catch folks eye..

I have no idea how to go about this..?

If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be most appreciated.
