forum install.

can i pay someone to set up/install a vb forum for me?

is there such a person? how much would it cost?

and what (if any) are the security implications?

What do you need done?

Jelsoft offers the service for customers I believe, costly however at $135 US.

If its just an basic installation any of us regulars can help you, I could talk you though it, or can do it for you (its really not hard at all)...If it's someone who is a regular on the VB forums and is generaly respected. It's a safe bet there is no security risk there. A lot of us have worked on many forums.

Now if you need a style done, varrious hacks, those will generaly cost you.

Its actually pretty simple to do. The directions are clear and there is always the vb support forums. Go buy your vBulletin Software (http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-1632511-10293996) and give it a try. If you have problems, come back and ask for installation help then.

well i came in here looking for someone myself. And i have visited the vb forums and attempted to do the same things on there..and i still seem to be gettin the same error message on step 2.
