PDA Database Size - Purge or not? abel 11-24-2005, 07:07 AM hey guys, last nights backup on my VB database yielded a file of about 550mb. the forum has been online for a year (~1500 members) and has never been purged or cleaned meaning the threads from the first month are still active ones that can be revived. i was curious to see how many people purge/clean out their DB from time to time. I consider doing it but i really hate losing a lot of those threads because there is som very good info in there that comesup when members run searches etc... lemme hear your thoughts and experiences on purging your VB Databases... thanks noppid 11-24-2005, 07:16 AM I'd keep um. I'd bet most of that 550 is attachments?
