I have a board with more than 1000+ members, and ofcoarse over a period of time, the members will increase.

Now when i need to send them mails using Vb's default mailing function, my host restricts me to send more than 300 mails per hour because my site is on a shared linux server, so only first 300 members recieve the mail i send.

Is there any modification/plugin/hack which allows me to sort my members onboard so that i can send the mail again to rest of the members after an hour again. Because in default vb mail system, you can sort 300 members out and send them mail only. It sends mail to all of them.

Almost everyone of us has sites on shared hosts. How you guys overcome this annoying problem?

Any help?

sorry Dane, but my host doesn't limit how many emails I can send out per hour. I just asked after reading your post. He thinks that's ridiculous

on vb.org there is a hack called commbull. (community bulletin) This hack lets you set how many emails to send at a time and the time between batches.
