custtom .htaccess

Does anyone fancy giving me a hand at bulding a custtom .htaccess file for my site.

What I want to be able to achieve is

1 all pages are www.zoo.com and not zoo.com.

2 all misspelt (and accordingly missing) URLs are returned to my homepage.

I presently have the following at root:

redirect 301 /Hospitality_Forum_UK/ http://www.hfuk.org.uk/Hospitality-Forum-UK/

redirect 301 /Hospitality_Forum_UK http://www.hfuk.org.uk/Hospitality-Forum-UK/

Obviously I've changed the URL of the forum so this needs to stay in place, to maintain old links.

All and any help will be gratefully received.

Regards,

Zooman
