I'm almost there! $60 more and I'll be able to purchase my vB license! I sent out an email to all of our forum members and explained, in detail, what I wanted to do. Then hit them up for donations. A few have been very generous! :D

I'm actually half tempted to go ahead and get the leased license just to start getting the site switched over, since I understand that you can upgrade to an owned license if you pay the difference within 30 days.

Correct, though after that point its full price unless you snag a used license on the cheap. ;)
