Making My First Skin.......

I need to know where to get everything i need to know for making a skin and all the graphics with it in Photoshop....like size, all the icons i need to make, etc....

I've searched and searched and nothing has helped me out at all. I'm getting fairly frustrated because i'm really looking forward to making a custom skin that i can be proud of...and possibly go even farther with it.

All the standard icons and images are there right in front of you in the default vB directories. If you are considering creating a graphically rich style, with customised header/footer, forumhome, postbits and threadview etc then you need to amend the templates as this is not part of the default vB style set. You might learn more by looking at one of the many free graphical styles already available for vB and base your initial 'learning' design on what you see there.

No offence meant, but if you want to... "possibly go farther with it" then you need to take the initiative and do some further detailed research.

Perhaps try starting out with a simple CSS based style - all possible of course in the AdminCP of vB.

Mindstate, if I understood you correctly then you need to go here (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/) and download the Compiled HTML (.chm) Manual (for the version of vB that you are using) because the information you are looking for is all in there.
