I've always used google ad's on my sites, but I noticed you all use yahoo ad's on this site.
can I ask why you choose yahoo over google ?
do they have as strict TOS as google, such as, can you have other ad's with your yahoo ones,, or is it like google.. where they like to be the only ad company you use ?
thx

Dunno the answer to that myself but im getting racked off with google saying i cant have additional sponsors on my site and having a that link which say 'advertise on this site'
I dont think they even understand their own rules , they call us publishers yet they say we cannot design websites just for adsense money
Im considering quitting pay per click and going with adultfriendfinder.com affiliate program because everyone needs a good ride , thats why so many people bought the pc's in the first place ;)

SO far, my impression of Yahoo ads is that they dont have many publishers, (look at the ads on this page and you will notice they are not very targeted to webmasters) but the payout is fantastic on a per click basis. So its a wash more or less. I chose to use the yahoo ads here as a test mostly. Webmaster sites tend to not get as large a number of clicks (unfortunately) as non webmaster sites. However, when Yahoo ad gets clicked, the payout is many many times larger. Some clicks for me have been as high as $10+ for one click, with the average being around $2 across the several sites I am running Yahoo Publisher ads.
My recommendation as of right now (and this will change over time I'm sure) - is to use Yahoo on low CTR channels and keep Google Adsense on higher CTR channels. This should also help bump up your Google Adsense 'Smart Pricing' since the Adsense 'Smart Pricing' algo seems to pay higher CTR webmasters better. So by placing Yahoo on lower CTR channels, you should both improve the overall Google CTR (thus giving you better rates from Google, and give you higher payout on the Yahoo publisher ads.
I cna say this, If Yahoo Publisher keeps the high payouts, Google will be hurt considerably. The only thing holding Yahoo back right now is they have a lower number of advertisers, so ads do not always show as relevant as they should. Once they overcome that, and if they keep the higher payouts per click, no publisher in their right mind will stay with Google Adsense
So, what will the future bring? Only time will tell now.
