Im selling a vBulletin owned license, its download access expires may 06' , so it has around 4 months left.

I will provide recepits and any other information a buyer wishes to see before the purchase is made.

I don't really know how much second hand licenses go for, so best offer gets it.

my msn is luke@iblamegod.com if you wish to contact me.

apparently, luke is a stand up guy and for whatever reason, vbulletin is dragging their feet on this.

my apologies, luke, as vbulletin some 20 hours later has contacted me to complete the license transfer. i contacted them twice during this process, and received two emails stating

"As I said once that owner contacts us and provides all the info required to verify the transfer request, you will be contacted to approve the transfer.

All the best,
Steve Machol
Customer Support Manager, vBulletin"

even after luke had apparently contacted them. part of the issue(s) regarding license transfer appear to rest with vbulletin itself. I will keep you all posted on this process, as it really is controlled by vbulletin.

imagine asking twice if the license transfer request has been initiated and receiving the above reply twice... makes you a little nervous.

let's see what happens. i can't really blame luke for this; this is a function of the process, and he is not in charge of the process.

this is really frustrating.

did you ever get this settled?

yes, in fact he did. it wasn't anything on his side......

let's just say the process is protracted and redundant (unnecessarily so) on the vb side...

all went well.

thanks!
