an advertising banner...

How would I go about placing an ad banner on my forum? I want it on the index page just above the forum body (under the shoutbox).

Simple. Just insert the html in the forumhome template right under the $navbar code, or under the code that shows your shoutbox..

That way it will appear where you want it, however, this will only show on the forumhome page when you might have wanted it to appear on every page...??

If you want it on every page you ought to put the code in either the header or navbar templates.
