For whatever odd reason, when I imported from phpBB to vBulleting all members' birthdays went from whatever their birthday is, to 0.
I've asked all members to correct their birthday information.... however, there's no option in their profile to do so. Is this something I need to do in the acp? If so, where? My forum isn't allowing for editing of birthday info and I can't find it in the acp

adminCp ---> Search User ---> Enter username and search ----> Will be a option under Username on left hand side to edit yourself
members can do by going to UserCp ---> Edit Profile

I know how to do all that.
But for some reason, my members aren't permitted to edit their own birthdays, there is no option in the usercp... that's what I want to change and I don't know where in the admincp to change it at.

I'm thinking you have age restrictions on and with that enabled, members can't edit b-days. I think.
BTW, I have not seen the place in two months. I need to stop by.
Cheers.

well damn I found the problem. I have the birthday set as a required field when registering. If it's a required field, once they enter a b'day they can't change it. Which is GOOD... except that the import screwed up all the b'days.
So, I had to change it to optional, and waa laa... now you can change it. but it's also not required. that's odd.

I believe this should work:
1) Temporarily disable registration.
2) Uninstall age lock.
3) Install fill-in manditory fields hack.
4) Once members have filled it in, re-install the age lock hack.
5) Re-open registration.

Ahh, I missed that. Still, if you want to force current members to fill it out, then you should follow the steps I outlined above. If not, then just making it optional should do.
