Don't waste your time. A smart surfer can get around it. And members WILL get annoyed.

Watermark your photos instead.

What exactly does "watermark" do????

Watermark traditionally means adding a faint visible picture in the background of your pictures so that it is immediately identifiable that a particular picture belongs to your site's. This allows you to detect hot-linkers and image stealers very easily.

Right now, there are tools that embed hidden strings into the picture files themselves as unique identifiers, without altering the physical appearance of the pictures. Depending on your needs, you could choose either one of these two to apply as a watermark.

I agree with noppid. Don't use an anti-right-click script. I use Maxthon browser, which has integrated right-click enabler. Just one click to activate it, and your script ends up useless.

Besides, these kind of scripts can be found free at websites like Javascript Kit and Dynamic Drive; there is no need to spend money at those shady websites with super long "sales letter" -- they are mostly out to fleece money out of gullible users who don't take the time to do their research properly.

Not a good idea!

The visitors may get irritated and stop coming to the site.
Yeah, it happens!

thats what i dont like about "Html Protectors", it loses customer. and all you have to do is put a copyright logo on the bottom of your site which includes the HTML sources. and when they copy it COMPLAIN! and get some money while your at it :)
