spongebob 05-13-2006, 06:32 PM are logo's part of the skins and styles?
if not is it hard to make custom logo's along with a banner? and is there a place/person that will design a custom logo?
thanks.
Peggy 05-13-2006, 08:04 PM what kind of logo are you talking about? a title header?
You might want to send a private message to John here at vbfaq, or ask in the styles section at vbulletin.org.
Custom work will cost you tho ;)
Joeychgo 05-13-2006, 10:54 PM If you just want a custom header image - thats easy to do - once you have the image.

Coder1 05-17-2006, 07:19 PM and what? Do you have an image you'd like to use? Do you have a logo for your site/company? I don't understand your question.

...and how do i go about inserting it into the header?
i tried and failed. i cant even find the image directories. lol
Peggy 05-18-2006, 04:42 PM is there already a header image on your site? If so, go into your Admin CP, go to styles and templates, style manager. Then in the righthand pane, click on the blue down arrow next to your style name, and select Style vars. Select that, and go.
When your style variables screen comes up, scroll down to Image Paths. The very first one tells you where the current image is. You want to replace this one. I find that the easiest thing to do is name the new one the same thing as the old one. Then you'll just upload the new image to the folder where the old one is... it tells you in the file page there. If the old one is named something strange like ****.png, and you saved the new one as .gif or .jpg, then change it there. Upload the image, and waa laa

yea i can understand that part but i cant even find out how to upload a image to begin with.
Peggy 05-19-2006, 06:52 PM the same way you uploaded vBulletin to your website, you'll upload the image to your vBulletin... your ftp program. Find what folder the image is stored in and upload the image to that folder, overwriting the original if you named it the same.
