ABC launched their streaming TV service (http://dynamic.abc.go.com/streaming/landing) a few days ago, and it's awesome.
While I would have prefered a downloadable version, we all know that would have to be encumbered by heavy DRM or some other rediculous restriction. What we do have is a nice little Flash player that works on Windows and the Mac. The commercials are also one of the best parts, too. That may be odd to hear, but they're much less intrusive then I had originally anticipated. Just three 30 second clips and that's it. That's less commercials than one break on normal TV.
It does need a little work, I didnt find the navigation to be very good. But all in all, im impressed. Now those of you who access from work can watch tv at work too!
While they're just testing this out, I'm pretty confident they're going to keep it around afterward. Exciting times.
