I've seen a few sites that will have 2 google ad's at the top of their archive, where do I edit to place my ads here ?

You have to insert the code into the page output variable using the start and end hooks for the archive. I believe there are hacks to help ya do it.

there is one amykar made i believe but it seems like she has code all over the place. I just want 2 on the very top.

Yep, there is a hack to help you over at vb.org

This is the one that I used for www.thepartylive.com/forums/archive/index.php/

I don't earn much from them, but I plan on playing with the layout over the summer months when I get more traffic :D
