If I'm currently rebuilding my site from scratch & them a month later I get a copy of my original data from my site with over a year of posting etc can I Blend in my big database in with whatever being posted onto my web page now?

I do see forums & such becoming an issue all conflicting with each other possibly but I'm willing to manually go in a remove double forums & move post etc etc...

Or would I only be able to replace the current with the Old?

http://thewebwheeler.com/forums/images/smilies/sign_bump.gif OK Nobody has replied & I might has this happening to me...

The rebuilt SITE currently has. Threads: 411, Posts: 3,509, Members: 67, Active Members: 63

But the Old site had Threads: 2,954, Posts: 38,212, Members: 208

So if I do get the database back I'll like to some how blend them in together but..........http://bestsmileys.com/thinking/1.gif

I do not think you will be able to merge the old database members, threads & posts since each member and thread & post is assinged a unique id.

Well at this point I dont think I'm gonna get my old data base back from that jerk

But I had an idea..
I own some other unused Domain names Maybe I could make one operational & put my data base there & either run both sites or Copy & paste most of the good stuff..
Yes I know thats ALOT OF WORK! :o

But I think that should work. http://bestsmileys.com/thinking/6.gif
