Don't remove the "Powered by vBulletin" witout paying for the removal.
vB will allow you to remove what version of vB you are using, but not the powered by vBulletin.
If you're looking to remove the little vB symbol that's at the top of your address bar in front of your URL, you can use a program called PixelToolbox and change your favicon.ico like the one that shows up in the addy bar here at VBW.

You can, however, remove it from the top of the page. You know how when you go to save a site in your favorites, if it's a vB site it has the name of the site - powered by vBulletin. You can remove that one, just not the copyright from the footer

You cannot have copy write item removed without paying for it!
If you mess, you may end up losing the license!

mayank, the phrase at the top of the page is NOT copyright... the copyright notice is at the BOTTOM of the page.
here are the instructions for removing it.
Go to your ADMINCP> Language & Phrases> Search in Phrases
In your Phrases Search for: x_powered_by_vbulletin (be sure to choose to search by Phrase Text and Phrase Variable Name)
Edit the phrase. Simply change it from {1} - Powered by vBulletin
to {1}
SO your just deleting - Powered by vBulletin

Or, you can edit parts of header, headerinclude, or any other template and remove the phrase variable that outputs the text OSH is talking about and put unique content for each. (ie FORUMHOME, FORUMDISPLAY, SHOWTHREAD)

Removing Copyright?
Is that a legal idea?
I guess, VB asks to pay something to remove it.
I wonder if they sue you

this is NOT removing copyright. The copyright is at the bottom of your forum.
What we're talking about is at the top, and if perfectly legal

Page_Title -> Powered by vBulletin can be removed or edited in the phase template as Ohiosweetheart explained the how-to remove it from being displayed in your page title.
and it also appears in the footer of the forum... so any ideas how to remove it?You cannot remove it in the footer template unless you pay the copywrite removal fee.
