Is there a hack that i can change a lot of profiles without having to go throught each profile.
Like make it so that i can change 300 members profile to send PMs notifcations to the e-mail address provided?

I don't think so Juanto, but vBulletin.org would probably be the better place to ask.

It's in the ACP under run query.

I'd avoid vbulletin.org for... awhile. We can do it all here, anyway. :)

I'll echo the advice to run your own query. If you need help with a SQL query, just ask.

I hate doing query's. I have to ask Joey every stinking time I do one, because I do them so seldom that I forget how

Im no good with querys, but this should jsut be a simple query to do.

In fact, its a stock query. Go to your ADMIN CP> Maintenence> Execute SQL Query

Next to Automatic Query you'll see a dropdown menu. There is one for Yes - Send Notification email when a private message is received

Try that.

Why avoid vbulletin.org? A highly polarized community. I don't like the attitudes of most of the coders, and I don't like the attitudes of most of the staff. Most coders have an elistist, entitlement mentality, and the staff has an elitist, "let them eat cake" mentality.

While I'm sure there are some very nice, capable people there, I can find those people here or at vbhackers, where the signal-to-noise ratio is much better.

The queries are premade and you select them from a list. Most of the yes/no fields can be globally reset this way. You don't need to know how to run a query.

You do however have to enable your user ID to be able to run queries in the config.php to use this helpful query menu.

We are a strange breed.
