Blog advertising

I recently added to a few static pages on one of my sites affiliate programs like linkshare or clickbank to try them out. They appear to be showing a little bit of earnings.

I am thinking about adding a blog area on my site an try some blog advertising. Blog advertising seemed to be limited to adsense and now there are many to choose from like search feed, Kanoodle, adknowledge, RSS feeds etc.

Is running ad's in your blogs earning you any revenue...?

I run adsense - I think contextual advertising is an okay way to add relevant advertising to a Web site, particularly if a site's content is written in a seo manner. Maybe if your blog contains discussions about the different types of Web hosting, then ads about Web hosting can appear along the top and/or the right side of a page. These ads might contain the exact information visitors are searching for. This in turn may convert to a high ctr for the ads on the page and means $$ for you.

Keywords are important for indexing. Contextual ads in adsense is also the best way to advertise using google adsense. I have read these from the net. If you have blogs, put contextual ads, then, check which topics/keywords have the most hits and you do more of this kind.
