BB Code Hack?

Is there a useful (easily installed by dummies like me) hack allowing text justify in the BB code options? I notice some sites have such an option available in addition to vB's left, right, and center buttons. I kinda like justified text (looks neater IMO) so would use it a lot.
But I don't want to have to edit templates any more than is necessary - I am bound to slip up if I try it.

And, on a similar subject, does anyone know how to flow text around an image in a post? I am trying to do it in a GARS article - I get the image in OK but it throws the text above or below and looks silly (of course). If you do know I'd be grateful if you would share the secret. PLEASE don't tell me it's an option already available on vB or I'll be bald tomorrow! :D

Good morning all

I have found a hack which very simply allows flowing text around images (image embedding I think some call it). I've just got up after a very late night so I'll come back later today and have a go at posting the details in the relevant forum, Joey.

It's very simple and, if I can install it and get it functioning then I think just about anyone (and their dog, p'raps :) ) could do so too.

I'm still looking for a text justify hack. There are some out there that you experts could easily handle but I'm looking for one for the dummies like me. I'll keep you posted.

Respecting intellectual property rights, it seems polite to point anyone interested in a 'flow text around image' hack to the post of the author (I presume) of the one I have mentioned above by a member called WAR, at post #7 in the following thread on The Geek's forum:

Amazingly simple hack with excellent install instructions for the likes of me. The important thing is that it really does work without any bother at all and it needs no template changes.


New Edit: I have now found a simple hack for justifying text. Again, it requires only a tweak in the BB Code editor on ACP. It is found in post #2 on the following vB.org thread:

I really don't understand why vB has not provided these two options in its foundation software. Thank goodness for the hackers and coders out there. Thank you very much guys.

Nice one, thanks. Thes are great hacks. Like I said, can't understand why vB hasn't set up the board software with some of these included. I prefer lengthy text docs to be justified, for example, and it's great now that I have the facility to do this.

I'm gonna have a go at the float left and right hacks next. Presumably, they are more versatile than a simple [ wrap ] code in that they will move the image with text editing? Is that correct?
