Couple skin questions

1. how do i set a skin to be the default skin someone sees when they visit my forum?

2. How would one go about removing the ad in the top right corner, Page name in top left, and insert a header into the space i am guessing is meant for it.

luckyaba, you have your forum set so that guests can't see the forum. You need to change that in your usergroups so that we can view and help


To answer you first question, go into your acp, click on vBulletin Options, on the right scroll to styles and language settings.
Where it says Default style, if you have more than one style installed, scroll to the one you want as default, select and save

ok i think i got the permissions changed so it can be viewed.

I got the skin to be set as default i believe.

I want to remove that add on the right and change the text on the left to show my site name.

If on the left, you're referring to the header image where it says Your Forum and slogan etc... you need to contact the skin designer and ask them to customize that for you, if you don't have Photoshop. They usually do it for free.

Yeah sorry, i found out how to get rid of the banner and i changed the banner but as you can see i am artistically challenged.... lol. Gonna have to hit up this guy that made it.

Ohh i know. Its the first time i've really taken the time to learn how everything works. I found the picture and edited myself but couldn't open it in layers so i had to just color over it.

Miner, I would be interested in seeing if i could get some assistance just putting the site name up there. I want to get into designing my own but im sure that will take some time and want it to look good until i get to that point.
