I feel that VB-Faq would be better off with less forums. Condensing some of the less popular ones and merging them with the ones that are similar to them would do a great deal of justice to the community.
As it stands now, its a major pain to view the form with 30 different forums, many regarding the same issues and topics, rather confusing, intimidating to new members, and makes the place look dead.
I propose that The following forums be merged into one
Off Topic and General Discussion
Buy and Sell and Help Wanted should be one forum
vBulletin annoucements should be moved to the Getting Started Parent category
Choosing a web host and vBulletin hosting should be merged with General vBulletin. If nothign else Choosing a web host, and vBulletin hosting should be the same
Setting up and Customizing your Forum, and Simple vBulletin tweaks should be all in the same
As you can see alot of those forums, are very similar in their topics and discussions. There are more that can be merged, and rearranged but thats just a start and wanted to throw this starting set out, to see how the idea flys.
