There are two places to manipualte the metas. The title is handled in the forumhome template.
The metas are in the headerinclude template.
A search here on "title" will bring you to a nice list of discussions on this topic including... Title and Description Changes for Better SEO (http://www.vbulletin-faq.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2261&highlight=title).
Welcome to the forum.

Have the defaults changed in version 3.61? Or did I already do this and just forgot it?

I did read that, Joey. My forum is currently "optimized" in that way, I think. What I was saying is I can't recall if I made the suggested changes last month in 3.60 and they managed to "stick" through the upgrade, or are the optimizations are now standard in 3.61?

Tee hee. Only one to fix nowadays :)
