Restrict from physically removing threads

Is there any mod which will restrict my staff members from physically removing threads? and posts?

I've checked the default VB option which restricts mods from physically removing threads but i think that option is not working as my mods are still gettin the option to physically remove the threads and many did.

I was amazed when i saw this because i've always thought it was OFF.

What to do? any mod u know please give me the link to it..

In the usergroup permissions - you can stop them from deleting threads.

actually Joey... I looked when I was having a problem with a moderator deleting threads. There's nothing there (that I can find) to stop them from deleting any threads except for their own.

hmmmmmok I asked at vb.com, and there's no way to prevent a mod from deleting threads, posts, or banning members. Has to be done through a hack. Or so they said

we can restict them, when we are assigning an individual moderator to a forum

but turning ths of also dosent prevent them from deleteing thread .. i dont know wtf is wrong!! :S:S

Well, the solution is :

Add moderators individually to each forum, and then there comes the option for "physically remove thread" and turn it NO. And dont make that user the addtional member of Moderators or Super Moderators, just keep him a simple Regstered user.

If you make him add. member or mod. aur sup. mod group, then he will be able to physiclly remove the threads.
