Flash Seo

Hi every one

I know that Flash is the worst thing i can do for SEO.

I told my client that but i still want to do the most i can to get him in the Search engens

Any ideas what i can do

I belkieve there is something similar to "no script" where you can place text content, although I never use Flash myself. Have a look at how it's done at http://www.taintedshade.com - Daren Turner at http://www.webpageturner.com is a Flash wizard.

There are some JavaScript routines that people are using and they claim that they work because spiders cannot execute JavaScript. Basically, you write all the HTML Flash object code with JavaScript. Place it in an external file in a function and call the function from within the main page. You can take it one step further and place a background image on the page where the Flash is supposed to appear. If a user has JavaScript disabled in their browser, they will at least see an image in place of the Flash.

Better yet, convince the client to "Trash the Flash!"

Flash is amazing, if your site is art/media related flash will help imo but if its about most other things theres no point.
