Black yellow

i have ported my Black yellow skin to latest vB3.6, the fifth one today...

Hi miner,
What happened to using the fot_left.gif and fot_right.gif images in the footer of the style.
I hope you can put these back into Black Yellow 3.6 as this is what made the style have it's own identity and why I choose to use it for the site I am working on.
If this cannot be done, can I still use Black Yellow 3.5 in VB3.6 or will it cause problems.

No you cant use skins made for 3.5 to VB3.6 as you will be missing the new enhanced features of 3.6 versions...

I will create the exact design of 3.5x to 3.6 soon, just wait for a day...

i love this skin but is there a way to revert back to a standard navbar because i need to use a double navbar hack.

yes you need to do 2 things...

1) Go to style manager> edit templates> select Navbar/Breadcrump templates> navbar - revert this template.

2) go to style manage> all style options> header> find this code:

<!-- Navigation bar -->

delete all the codes from this point upto

<!-- / Navagation bar -->

then scroll down to bottom and hit the save button it done...

perefect thank you very much.. quite interesting how that was designed. i wasnt aare that was in the header. i might use both. any idea how i can put a black border around the lower navbar where its gray and says homw, forums ect?

stunt, maybe you could keep the button navbar of this skin and add the double navbar hack without reverting the template? that way you could keep the buttons and the new navbar?, that would be more eye pleasing IMO.

That might not work if the hack you're using uses template injection, but if you have to add the template modifications yourself I believe you could end up with a better loking skin that way. If you need more help to do it just yell ;)
