The last week or two, i've noticed my ad display count sky rocket, and earnings go up a noticebale amount, but without me adding adsense to any of my sites, or doing anything different.
So i thought adsense was finally starting to work for me, like everyone else claims it to. I was wrong, dead wrong.
I get a email from google, saying that my adsense campaign is in violation of their TOS and my ads were appearing on adult sites, They listed the adult sites, and it wasnt the one i own (since i know better). Then all my valid sites, advertisements were switched to the public service ads.
So i email google up, tell them those arent my sites, and my publisher ID has been hijacked (since its available from the source code on pages) and i'm not responsible for what some asshat is doing with the code.
About a day later (today) i've received "Offical Response" from the adsense team, and they've reinstated my account, and aplogized for the mishaps. The only problem was they removed all my valid earnings as well as the adult ones. So i emailed them back, and we'll see how that goes.
Obvisously, someone was out to get adsense accounts banned. and there is no way to stop people from doing it. I suggest emailing google, and see if they'll provide you with a list of sites where they've recorded your ads appearing.
