Peggy 09-26-2006, 09:27 AM dang, another upgrade
argggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!
so lucky i haven't updated my real site yet, but this is getting ridiculous!
noppid 09-26-2006, 10:17 AM I think there is an obvious possibility that 3.6 may not have been ready for gold. Or, the updates are being rushed.
This is costing a lot of people a lot of time in many cases.
I don't use it, thankfully. But I want that update now. Thanks Joey!
Hell³ 09-26-2006, 10:36 AM oh fer crying out loud... now I will have to renew my license
Dave A 09-26-2006, 10:59 AM Implimenting the patch is rather trivial. I just want to know what to do with the redirect of a thread that didn't cancel when it was supposed to???
I'm allergic to data loss.

Ain't that the truth
I guess we should consider ourselves lucky that they're catching the problems quickly, however I would just as soon waited a little longer for Gold than to go through this.
oh fer crying out loud... now I will have to renew my license :rolleyes:Poooooor baby ;)
I'm allergic to data loss. You too??
Dave A 09-26-2006, 11:15 AM The patch seems to work fine. Guess I got lucky. (Touch wood)
I'm allergic to data loss.
Ditto! I am the same way.
That's too bad Hell. :(
Hell³ 09-26-2006, 03:31 PM I will wait to renew my license until they release 3.6.2.
Since is a stability issue they release those patchs to everyone with a valid license trough the forum.
friscogal 09-26-2006, 07:41 PM is that why i had all the lost info? oh no, i hope this new upgrade isnt a PITA :( i am finally ok with my forum and not stressing about it.

iran.gs 09-27-2006, 05:32 AM Poor coders what they go thru to catch up with all the new upgrades :D
minstrel 09-27-2006, 05:37 AM is that why i had all the lost info?
No. IIRC your issue had to do with importing from another forum into vBulletin, correct? This is a totally different issue having to do with forum redirects and maintenance.
friscogal 09-27-2006, 09:17 PM ok...i guess i am just looking to blame someone/something
Hell³ 09-27-2006, 09:42 PM Blame noppid. Everyone does ;).

Having kept an eye on the bug tracker for 3.6.0, I agree. Glad I haven't updated 3.5.4, yet!!
minstrel 09-30-2006, 09:58 AM I wonder if the issues have to do with upgrades from previous versions. I haven't noticed any significant issues with 3.60 or 3.61 but that was my entry version.
Hell³ 09-30-2006, 10:39 AM Protoss, you should at least upgrade to 3.5.5, there's a nasty bug in 3.5.4 I believe.
protoss 09-30-2006, 11:04 AM Thanks for the warning Hell³, I'll look into it. Was not aware of 3.5.5 :o
Edit*** plugin installed.
